    Two Winter Skin Saviours

Happy Monday my loves! Is anyone else's skin having a post-Christmas breakdown? Mine certainly is, I can't wait for my skin to be back to normal again! My skin is usually normal to oily but in the winter it needs an extra boost of hydration when it can begin to feel tighter.

Recently I've been trying and testing new skincare products, I love using my La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+ as my morning moisturiser - it keeps my skin clear and works wonderfully underneath makeup! However, in the evening I need something a little more hydrating.

At work I've been keeping my eye on the Decleor Merry Oils Christmas Set, waiting for it to go down to half price in the sale. In the set there was a full sized micellar oil, full sized Neroli night balm, full sized Neroli oil serum, a small sized soft satin oil and a small sized body exfoliator. The whole set was priced at £89.90 but it was worth around £120 (if I remember rightly, I can't find how much it was worth!) but I purchased it half price in the sale for £45 (House Of Fraser). What a bargain!

I've been trying the products out for just over a week and a half now and I've got two favourites from the set which have really been helping my skin by giving it a boost of hydration.

Decleor offer a range of skincare based on different essential oils suitable for each skin type and condition. The Aromessence Oil Serum is one of my favourite products. All you need is a few drops of this and it feels and smells like a spa on your skin. This is the perfect product for applying to your skin at night so the oil can work it's magic whilst you sleep - I've been waking up with glowing skin! You can also mix a few drops of this into your moisturiser for a hydrating mask!

This is another one of my favourite products from the set. If my skin is feeling super dry and tight this is such a saviour because it's so rich. This is a thick balm which you only need a small amount of. I take a small amount and rub it between my fingers to warm the product and then apply to my skin at night. This also contains the Neroli essential oil. I wouldn't recommend using this with the oil serum though - oil overload.

Have you tried any Decleor products? How are you coping with winter skin? Let me know your skin saviours in the comments below. See you soon!

    My First Charlotte Tilbury Haul

It's fair to say that Charlotte Tilbury has whipped up a storm since it launched, beautiful rose gold packaging and beautiful products! I'm not quite sure why it's taken my such a long time to make a purchase! However, when I was in London with my boyfriend a few weeks ago I couldn't resist having a nosy at the counter in Selfridges!

Let me tell you it was beautiful! I knew I wanted the Glastonberry Lipstick, I've seen it everywhere and the shade is perfect for this season! then when I was hit with "Is that everything?" my mind thought HELL NO. So of course I had to enquire about (surprise surprise) a brown nude lipstick. When the lady showed me Hepburn Honey watched on her hand I fell in love, I didn't even need to try it, I knew I wanted it there and then.

That evening I wore Glastonberry out for mexican food and I was so surprised at how comfortable it was for a matte lipstick! It lasted so well and I loved the colour! Then the next day I wore Hepburn Honey and I fell even more in love with these lipsticks! I thought hold the phone I have to go back and get more goodies! So I went back and picked up Iconic Nude Lipliner, Bad Romance Lipliner, Blondie Gloss and the infamous Kim K W Lipstick. There is nothing wrong with treating yourself people!!!

I am absolutely blown away by the quality of these lipsticks they truly are unbelievable. Recently I've been wearing Iconic Nude Lipliner, Hepburn Honey Lipstick and Blondie Gloss this is my current go to! I've also been pairing Kim K W Lipstick with MAC Whirl lipliner which I also love!

    (Swatches from top to bottom)
Blondie Gloss, Bad Romance lipliner, Iconic Nude lipliner, Hepburn Honey Lipstick, Glastonberry Lipstick and Kim K W Lipstick.

Have you tried any Charlotte Tilbury products? I'm in love with mine! Let me know what your favourite products are in the comments below! See you soon!

Look Fantastic November Sparkle Beauty Box

"Dream big, sparkle more, shine bright" what a lovely message to see when you open a beauty box. I've seen so many different types of beauty boxes and I've never really been drawn to any of them. A few weeks ago I didn't even know that Look Fantastic existed until I saw their advert for the Beauty Calendar and that's when I discovered these boxes.

I liked how much attention they put into each box, theres a theme and the products inside go with the theme of the box. With each box you also get an Elle magazine which I think is such a nice gesture, for me I love sitting down with a magazine and a cup of tea but the problem is actually going out and getting one. So having a magazine each month is a nice touch - perfect for winter!

It also comes with a booklet with information about each product you receive and how to use it which is so helpful!

So after much research and a little sneak peak into the previous boxes this year and seeing what amazing brands they had in the boxes I took a look at the subscriptions they offered.

After a few glasses of pinot I'd fully convinced myself that I need a gift from me to me at the beginning of each month so I decided to go with the 12 month subscription which is £11.25 each month which is amazing considering how many products you get and the quality. Here's what's in this months box!

This product is one that I keep seeing everywhere so I'm so excited to try this! (We all know how much I love my hair oils!) It's described as lightweight hair treatment infused with avocado and grape seed oil to nourish the hair and provide antioxidant protection against environmental aggressors. This product will be perfect for the colder months to bring shine back into our hair and protect it against this weather!

This is a brand that I've never heard of before so I'll definitely be giving this a go. It's packed with so many natural ingredients which are great for the skin such as Rose Essential Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Peptides and Blackcurrant Seed Oil. This balm is described as a 'winter saviour' that is supposed to reduce redness and soothe irritation as well as leaving skin balanced and hydrated.

I've never tried these brushes before but I've always looked at them and thought that they look like good quality brushes and I was right this is a good quality brush, the bristles feel so fluffy! I don't get on with angled blending brushes but I'm sure I'll find a use for this. These brushes are allergy free and environmentally friendly!

Model Co Blush Cheek Powder in Peach Bellini
I've never tried Model Co products until today so I was excited to try this today, and I love it! I tend to steer clear from blushers I only really like peach/apricot tones so the fact that this was a peachy blush made me so happy. It's got a bit of shimmer to it but barely noticeable on the skin, the product picks up so well it's very pigmented so you don't need a lot!

This is another interesting product because it's a spray gel, at first I was like hold on what does that mean. So I checked the booklet and its for volume and lift in your hair JUST WHAT I NEED. Having long thick hair means that my hair is very heavy and any curls or volume I put in can drop within an hour. I'm curious to see how this hold my hair in place! This product uses Cushion Particle Technology to lift hair from the roots.

Last but not least is this little guy. To be honest i've never heard of anything as a foot and leg spray but now that I've read what it's for it seems like something I need in my life. This product is said to be ideal for aching limbs and the extracts in it alleviate water tension and revitalise tired legs. For anyone who works in retail (aka me) I feel like this would be a good product. This will also come in handy at 3am when I've been in heels for hours when I go out over christmas and my feet can't take another step. I'm so curious to see how this works for me!

Those are the products that are in November's Look Fantastic Sparkle Beauty Box! I can't wait to see what's in Decembers! I'm so happy with this and I can't wait to get started using all my products! Are you subscribed to any beauty boxes? Let me know in the comments! See you soon!

Keep Your Skin Hydrated This Winter

I don't care what anyone says, for me, it's Christmas time! Bonfire night is over so it is well and truly Christmas! We're well and truly into winter now because it's getting colder by the day! and as much as I love Winter, it does no favours for my skin. As soon as November hits every year my skin feels tight, dry and begs for moisture. So these are my favourite body and face products that have been keeping my skin well moisturised lately!

When it comes to body care I'm so picky because I don't really like things that have a fragrance. Perfumed body lotions scare me, and I do prefer products with natural ingredients in a moisturiser it makes me so much more confident in what I'm putting on my skin! I love this moisturiser because it's fragrance free and super moisturising! This is only the lotion as well they do other products which are richer if you have extremely dry skin too! I love applying this on a night and when I wake up in the morning my skin is so soft and so well moisturised! I truly recommend this and I can't wait to try more products from this brand!

If you follow me on Instagram you'll have seen me post about my current favourite Kiehl's combo, featuring this little beauty! This is an essential product for me this winter because not only is it a face mask but it has cranberry seeds in it as well to exfoliate, so when you are rinsing the mask off the cranberry seeds are exfoliating your skin which is amazing. This is a great product because it makes my skin so radiant which I love because in the colder months my skin can look dull, I feel like this product brings it back to life!

This is one of my favourite skincare products lately, I've been using it for just over a month now and it's truly amazing! All you need is a few drops at night before you sleep and you wake up with such radiant skin. Sometimes using this on it's own is enough but sometimes I add a few drops to my regular moisturiser to add extra moisture when my skin needs it!

Those are my holygrail products to keep my skin hydrated and radiant in these cold months, and just because it's getting colder doesn't mean we should reduce our water intake either! That is essential for hydrated healthy skin! What are your favourite products to use to keep your skin hydrated? Let me know in the comments! See you soon!

    Recent Autumn Loves

Who doesn't love makeup? What better way to treat yourself than some luxury goods! Here's a few things that I've picked up lately!

This bronzer is definitely pricey but it's quality certainly makes up for it! It's a beautiful warm brown, similar to MAC Give Me Sun which you all know is my favourite bronzer. But recently I've been reaching for this. I use an angled brush to focus the product just underneath my cheekbone next to my ear and then diffuse it carving out my cheekbone. I also apply the product to my temples and hairline for an all over bronzed look.

I talked about how much I love this lipstick in my Autumn Lipstick Picks. It's the perfect autumn shade so I think I'll be getting my wear out of this for the rest of 2016.

How did I not know this existed and why does no one talk about it?! It's a clear gloss with gold flecks in it and it is absolutely stunning! We all know how picky I am about the stickiness of lip glosses so thank god that this one is not sticky, it's actually quite moisturising!

(Left to right) Guerlain Terracotta Four Seasons Bronzer 05 Moyen, Laura Mercier Lip Glacé in Bronze Gold Accent, Tom Ford Black Dahlia.

Those are my picks that I've been loving lately! What are your favourite products that you've been loving recently? Let me know in the comments below! See you soon!

    Autumn Lipstick Picks

The weather is absolutely freezing and I'm loving every minute, we're well an truly into autumn meaning there's no stopping us from breaking out those old favourites from last year and also gives us an excuse to buy more autumn lipsticks yay!

When picking out my favourite autumn lipsticks I noticed that they were all products which I've purchased recent, I must have been subconsciously thinking about autumn all summer! So here are my favourites for this season!

I love the Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lipsticks, they're incredibly pigmented and so comfy to wear all day! Sienna is a dark red shade with a hint of plum (it reminds me of MAC Diva).

I was after this lipstick for so long before i got it purely because I love warm browns! Light or dark I need them all! This deep chocolate brown is perfect for this season! For a full review on the lip kits click here.

As much as I love the plum shades, a trusty nude is always welcome! My favourite recently is Crushed Pecan! It's a brownish nude and wears so comfortably on the lips!

I think this might just be my favourite of them all. It's no secret that Tom Ford lipsticks are quite pricey as far as lipsticks go, but personally I think they're worth every penny. I wore this out the other night for a meal, wine was flowing (of course) and when I looked at my glass there was no transfer! I was so shocked! But it didn't survive my food unfortunately.

(Top to bottom) Laura Mercier - Sienna, Kylie Cosmetics - True Brown K, Laura Mercier - Crushed Pecan and Tom Ford - Black Dahlia.

What are your favourite lipsticks this autumn? Let me know in the comments below! See you soon!

    Autumn Eyeshadow Picks

There is nothing I love more than Autumn and Winter. Keep your summer! I love the cold weather! I get more giddy when October comes round every year, I've even dedicated a Pinterest board to this season and I am not ashamed.

There are many things I love about autumn and winter but I do love all the autumn makeup! Of course you can wear any colours you want all year round - I certainly do! But when plum lipsticks and burnt orange eyeshadows come out to play, now that is my favourite.

Recently I've fallen back in love with Makeup Geek eyeshadows. We all love them, they're trusty and affordable. I've picked out a few of my favourites which I'll definitely be using this season.

Top row from left to right (Americano, Chickadee and Cocoa Bear).

Middle row from left to right (Bitten, Havoc and Brown Sugar).

Bottom row from left to right (Frappé, Confection and Peach Smoothie).

For swatches on these eyeshadows - click here.

My little collection of course is based on warm browns and I love bringing back the burgundy and dusty pinks too!

Let me know what your autumn eyeshadow picks are for this season in the comments! See you soon!

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation - Is It Worth It?

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. If you haven't heard of it - where have you been? Every man and his dog raves about this foundation and you know me, I had to get it! I've been using it for about a month now maybe a bit longer to let you all know if it's worth it or not!

I'm in the shade 6 which is pretty much perfect for me it's a little bit lighter than my NARS foundation in Stromboli. They do a wide range of shades and they do olive undertones as well thank the lord!

The finish of the foundation is demi-matte I would say, despite the name I wouldn't say it's that luminous. Granted, it's not a matte finish but I would love if there was a more of a glow in there.

Personally I don't think it lasts as long as me as other foundations that I have. But without comparing to other foundations and judging solely on this foundation alone it does last well. Just not as much as my others.

I love this foundation I'd say it's probably my second favourite out of all the foundations that I've tried (it still doesn't beat my favourite NARS All Day Luminous Weightless). I know that when I use Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation I can guarantee a full coverage finish and I know that it isn't hard work to apply or blend.

Have you tried this foundation? What's your opinion? Let me know in the comments below. See you soon!

    September on Rebecca Olivia Capel

September always seems to be a busy month for me. Last month I started my second makeup course and got a new job after being in the same one for 3 years! So October feels like a whole new chapter in my life and I'm so excited!

But now we're into October so here's a summary of all the posts which featured on my blog last month!

Kylie Jenner Lip Kits: Thoughts and Feels

Yep, I jumped on the Kylie Cosmetics bandwagon. After hearing amazing things, good things, bad things and terrible things I took it into my own hands to buy them myself and make my own opinion.

First things first, ordering. Exposed was definitely the shade I wanted the most I love warm nudes so I added this straight to my basket without having to wait for it to be restocked, I also added True Brown  K whilst I was ordering Exposed too. So overall ordering was fine I didn't have to wait until the shades I wanted were restocked.

Delivery. Nightmare. I ordered them on the 5th August and they weren't dispatched until the 11th which isn't too bad. So I waited for them to be delivered and I was so excited I was constantly checking the tracking. On the 25th of August the tracking said my parcel had been delivered to my address, but my lip kits were nowhere to be seen. In a blind panic I emailed customer services who replied straight away and told me to wait as the tracking might be too fast. My lip kits arrived 4 days later and I had to pay around £16 customs fee's (sigh). But waiting 24 days for a delivery? Come on?

Despite the long delivery time I do love the products. The lip liners are so creamy and so pigmented, however my Exposed lip liner was faulty (like there was less product in it?) than the True Brown K one. I've seen other people have this issue which I think is a bit annoying that they've still not resolved this but it's not a major problem to me, my life isn't in tatters because of it.

I love both both lip kits I like the formula of them and how long they last. I wore exposed one day and just had to top it up after I ate but it lasted really really well.

Overall I love them, I just think delivery time could be better. I only say this because I ordered a Morphe 35O palette earlier this year from the Morphe website and it was delivered within a week to my house in the UK from America, so it is possible. But other than that I love the products and I love wearing them.

Let me know about your experiences purchasing your Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kits and what your favourite shades are in the comments! See you soon!

Bondi Sands Liquid Gold Tanning Dry Oil Review

Monday morning is back again! There are certain things that I can do the night before that make me have a better Monday, one of them is tanning. Having a tan makes me feel ten times better about myself so I'm always tanning throughout the week! After seeing how popular the Bondi Sands Liquid Gold Self Tanning Dry Oil was and how much Lydia Elise Millen raves about it, I decided to give it a go.

I always apply my tan before I go to bed so that it develops whilst I'm sleeping so in the morning I'm a golden goddess. I apply all my tans with a mitt (I switch between standard mitts and velvet ones).

What I love about this fake tan is the colour, it gives a beautiful olive toned tan which can be hard to find. It also smells like coconut and any beauty products that smell like coconut I am all over them like a rash! Because the tan is an oil it keeps your skin moisturised meaning that it doesn't wear off patchy which is a nightmare for all us serial tanners.

The only thing that I don't like about this tan is that even though it is a dry oil, it doesn't dry instantly so even the next morning my skin still feels well moisturised (damp). If you don't mind this then that's great, I think I'm just being picky because I love my tans that dry instantly!

Overall I love this tan for once a week use and top it up as it wears off with my instant tans. It smells beautiful and has a lovely colour! let me know what your favourite self tanners are  or if you have tried any of the other Bondi Sands products in the comments!

    My Favourite Foundation

Hello loves! It occurred to me the other day that I've been using the same foundation near enough everyday for 2 months, and that speaks volumes to me. Usually I switch between a few but recently I've been attached to one which made me think is this my favourite foundation?

As you can probably tell from the picture I'm talking about the NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation. I first purchased this last winter in a search for an SPF free foundation as I was sick to DEATH of flashback on photos. But it seemed that people either loved this foundation or absolutely hated it.

    and I did hate it.

I was so used to using Estee Lauder Double Wear that I packed this on with a kabuki brush the same as I did with double wear. It looked cakey and it looked like I was wearing a mask (not glam). So it kind of stayed in my makeup drawer collecting dust for a while until I had a change of mind and thought about using a different brush. I used the MAC 188 brush to apply it which is a duo-fibre brush and thank everything that is good in the world because I'd found my true love.

What I love about this foundation is how you only have to use a small amount and it spreads so much across your face and it's full coverage too! It makes my skin look super healthy and radiant, seems to blur any imperfections and lasts all day long. Anytime I use another foundation it makes me realise how good this one is as for me nothing compares to it.

I always order mine from feelunique.com as it is free delivery and you get super great samples too, they really are an amazing website!

Let me know what your favourite foundation is in the comments and why you love it so much! See you soon!

    August Favourites

It's that time again! Last month I only had 2 favourites I think but this month I've tried out a lot more products so I have a few things which I've been loving this month.

First off is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette. If you follow me on Instagram you'll know that I cannot stop using this. When I reach for an eyeshadow palette it's this, everyday. I've even hit pan on Burnt Orange and I've not even had this palette for 2 months! I love the eyeshadow colours, they blend out beautifully and they're incredibly pigmented!

My next favourite is the Lancôme Bi-Facil Non Oily Instant Cleanser Sensitive Eyes. If you read my Lancôme Haul + Free Gift post you'll know how much I loved this product from the start! And I've been using it everyday since I got it. It removes my eye makeup so easily!

I also love the Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner which was feautured in my Drugstore Haul. This eyeliner combined with my MAC 210 brush makes eyeliner effortless. It's super black and super creamy and doesn't transfer. I think I will love this eyeliner for a very long time!

Lancôme Hypnôse Mascara has been my absolute go-to this month! I can layer it so much and it doesn't clump! I'm so glad I've got a spare minature of this too so I have extra when this full sized runs out.

My last favourite is a pretty strange one. It occured to me how much I say I use this brush and how much I don't talk about it. The Morphe E17 is my perfect brush for using on my lower lashline. It blends an eyeshadow quickly and seemlessly under my eyes so I don't know why I've never really declared my undying love for this!

Let me know what you're favourites are this month in the comments below! See you soon!

    Happy Birthday To My Blog!

On the 28th July 2016 my blog turned one years old! It's incredible how fast this year has gone and looking back to when I first started has made me realise how much I have learnt.

To celebrate my blogs one year anniversary I decided to go for a new look and got a new template from Pipdig. As the year has gone on my pictures, types of posts and the way I write my posts has changed and that's why I wanted to change the way my blog looks to what style was in my head.

As this year has gone by what I post and how my blog looks has just fell into place and I feel as though I have definitely found my feet. Blogging for a year has definitely made me learn so much and I'm sure I've got much more learning and growing to do as a blogger as well!

Hopefully this next year will be even more exciting and insightful as the last! Let me know how long you've been blogging and how much you've learnt in the comments! See you soon!

    Jouer Long-Wear Lip Crème Review

I love liquid lipsticks and I'm on the hunt to find my perfect match! I came across this picture on instagram and I was blown away - I had to have this shade! After a lot of digging and investigating I found it was Jouer Long-Wear Lip Crème in the shade Papaye so whilst I was doing a little shop on Cult Beauty I also picked up the shade Melon (I mean I couldn't get just one, even numbers right?)

Unfortunately I was super disappointed with the shade Papaye, for some reason on myself it looks patchy but I can't layer it because then it makes it go chunky and flaky on my lips and we all know that is not glam. But I find that it works well if you just pop a little bit in the centre of your lips over a lipstick or lip liner!

However, I love the shade Melon! It's pigmented and I only need one thin layer. I'd only worn it here and there so yesterday I decided to put it to the test and see how well it served me!

I applied the product at 3pm in the afternoon and then went about my day. I didn't refrain from eating or drinking as I wanted to really put it too the test! I took my dog for a walk, ate a full pizza (yes, a whole pizza, girls gotta eat) and had several cups of tea and I was so so impressed that it had only worn away on the inner part of my lips. This didn't phase me too much as this is bound to happen when you eat a 10 inch deep pan mozarella feast. I love the shade of this liquid lipstick it's a warm nude pink.

(Shade Melon worn on the lips)

I'm intrigued to try more shades of this particular liquid lipstick as I really liked the Melon shade. Let me know if you've tried these liquid lipsticks and what you think of them! And help a girl out with some shades too! See you soon!

    Lancôme Haul + Free Gift!

Before recently I had never tried any Lancôme makeup other than a lipstick. But when I heard about their amazing gift with purchase at work I knew this was the right time to pick up some products.

When you buy two products you get a free gift containing a full sized cleanser, full sized makeup remover, mini moisturiser and mini Hypnôse mascara. And when you buy three products you got all the above and a full sized primer too!

I purchased a Hypnôse mascara, the new Grandiôse eyeliner and the Lancôme   blending brush. And I got five things free including three full sized products - if you ask me that's pretty amazing!

Obviously I was dead excited to try out all my new goodies and I've made my opinions on them for sure! So here's what I think!

I've heard good things about this mascara and it is definitely one of Lancôme's most popular products which is why it was one of my three choices. I was blown away by this mascara when I used it the day after I purchased it, you can layer this so much and it doesn't clump! I love it on my lower lashes it makes them look super long and makes my eyes look more awake!

This is a new product from Lancôme which I absolutely love! The handle bends so that you can really get into the nooks and crannies of your eyes without any smudging! It dried matte and I think it's super easy to use! It's not quite beat my Maybelline Gel Liner and MAC 210 brush combination but I love this product nonetheless.

We all love a blending brush! Blending brushes are the backbone of good eyeshadow looks - fact. I really wanted to try this as I love new brushes and this one reminded me of my MAC 224 but I think it's slightly smaller. I love using this brush, it is super soft and I like using it just after my MAC 224 to add more dimension and depth to any eyeshadow look!

This is one of the full sized products I received free with my purchase and I'm so glad I did. I've been using this to remove my eye makeup in the evening and it is truly amazing! I pop a small amount on a cotton pad, hold it on my eye for about 15 seconds and then gently sweep away the makeup and this product makes this process effortless. Because my makeup has a lot of staying power I was surprised how quickly this removed it! I will definitely be repurchasing this when I run out.

This was another one of the full sized free gifts but sadly I don't like it. My only reason is that I personally don't like those cleansers which make your skin feel squeeky after washing. It gives my skin a sort of rubbery feel? And I personally don't like that. This is the only thing I don't like about the product!

This was a free minature which came in the gift and HELLO?! Smoothing? Glow boosting?! Give it to me! I love products that make my skin look plump and radiant and this just does it for me! It's a liquid not a cream so it's not heavy on the skin but I've used this minature 3 nights in a row now (using my La Roche-Posay moisturiser in the morning, see my skincare post for details!) and I wake up and my skin is glowing I absolutely love this product this is another which I will be purchasing in the near future!

I also received a Hypnôse minature so you can see above for my thoughts on that!

Has anyone else took advantage of the Lancôme gift at Boots? What are your favourite Lancôme products? Let me know in the comments below! See you soon!

    Soleil Tan De Chanel Review

Good morning queens! I'm super super excited to be writing this post, I've been wanting to write it for so long! If you read my Mini Duty Free Haul or follow me on Instagram and saw this picture, you'll know that I bought the Soleil Tan De Chanel a few weeks back. When I bought this I was so happy as I've wanted it for so long and I've heard amazing things, so after using it for a good while I'm ready to share my thoughts.

When I first opened it, I died and came back to life it was SO PRETTY. Part of me wanted to smother my face in it and the other half never wanted to use it. I've been using this so much recently and I absolutely love it so here are my thoughts on the product and how I personally use it.

The product itself is a cream bronzer that can be worn alone, over foundation or on décolletage for a bit of tan, this product has so many uses! It has a mousse consistency when you touch it with your fingers but it applies like a cream product. In the pot it's very thick, so you can have a big swirl of your brush in there but you can look back at your pot and it looks like you've used barely any. However, when applied to the skin it blends out so quickly and seamlessly it's actually almost fool proof.

I love the colour of the bronzer because it's a warm colour so it doesn't look ashy however, the shade of the bronzer is actually the same shade as my favourite NARS foundation (I'm shade Stromboli) so when using this foundation I steer clear of this bronzer as it doesn't show up on my skin. But when I use my Clarins Skin Illusion foundation (shade 110 Honey), it shows up on my skin as this shade of foundation is lighter than my NARS one.

I take a MAC 188 brush (displayed in first picture) and swirl it in the product for about 3 full swirls (?) I then apply this straight to my skin. I start at my ear and drag it downwards under my cheekbone and then back up onto my temples and across my hairline on my forehead, creating a 'C' shape.

After the product has been applied evenly in a 'C' shape, I use the same brush and circular motions to blend in the product. Note that I am someone who hates cream bronzers or cream contouring! I find it time consuming and I much prefer to bronze and contour with powder products. This is super easy to blend out which is why I love it so much it literally takes me a few seconds. When there is not much product left on the brush I just sweep it once over the bridge of my nose so that my face actually looks like it's been in the sun.

Those are my thoughts on the Soleil tan De Chanel, I absolutely adore this product! Let me know what your thoughts are in the comments below! See you soon!

The Hair Oil That Replaced My Favourite Hair Product

If you read my Holiday Haircare Holygrails post, you'll know how much I love the Mark Hill Miracoilicious Moroccan Argan Oil. I've gone through so many bottles of that stuff and I never thought it could be replaced. But now it has.

A few weeks ago we had a brand new Liz Earle counter put in at work which was dead exciting. I've used the Cleanse&Polish before and I love that so I was eager to see what other products they had to offer.

After popping a pump of this oil through the ends of my hair from the tester on the counter, I was blown away by how healthy my hair felt instantly so of course I had to buy one for myself.

The Liz Earle Botanical Shine Nourishing Hair Oil is described as a lightweight oil which instantly conditions and protects hair against heat damage caused by styling and leaves hair with a luminous, natural looking shine. Which is 100% correct - it is literally what it says on the tin (box).

When my hair is towel dried I use 2 pumps of this, rub it between my palms and distribute it through my hair from the ends to the middle section of my hair and residue thats left on my hands I run through my roots. I then blowdry and straighten my hair and then to finish off I use just one pump and run this through the ends of my hair.

If you're looking for a new hair product I would definitely recommend going to your nearest Liz Earle counter and just try a pump of this through the ends of your hair and you will instantly see benefits!

What makes it better is that it contains no animal extracts and is suitable for all hair types! The product retails at £17.25 which I think is definitely worth it as a little goes a long way.

Those are my thoughts and feelings on the hair oil that replaced my favourite hair product, let me know if you have tried this and how you feel about it in the comments! See you soon!
