MAC Haul! Whisper of Gilt is back!

Good afternoon my sweets! Today is a great day! Not because it's Friday - but because today was the day my MAC delivery came and I have been waiting and waiting for it so desperately!

Of course I couldn't wait to tell you all about one of the products I bought so as soon as my delivery came I was on it taking pictures for this post as I wanted to upload the post ASAP (by ASAP I mean 4 hours after my parcel was delivered).

If you're a MAC junkie you will remember Whisper of Gilt which was a highlighter that everyone loved but it was limited edition and was discontinued. HOWEVER, it has been brought back in this years MAC Christmas Collection in the Nutcracker Sweet Copper Face Compact along with Extra Dimension Blush in Pleasure Model which is also STUNNING. So if you never got your hands on Whisper of Gilt before or you're running out - now is the time to grab it! Check out the swatch of Whisper of Gilt at the bottom of this post it's insane! I'm so grateful that my friend works at MAC otherwise I would have had no clue that this product was out!

Along with the Nutcracker Sweet Copper Face Compact, I also picked up the Extended Play Gigablack Lash Mascara. I purchased this because Jaclyn Hill raves about how good it is for lower lashes and I hate using a chunky mascara wand for my lower lashes because it can be quite messy, so hopefully this will be amazing!

If you know me you know how much I love orange eyeshadows, anything orange or warm brown and I need it. Rule is such a beautiful eyeshadow it's a bright orange but a bit peachy too! I can't wait to get this on my lids!

Recently I've been seeing a lot of makeup artists use the MAC 109 brush for foundation! It seems to give a flawless finish so I picked up this brush so I can give this a go!

Last but not least I purchased the MAC Warm Neutrals eyeshadow palette. This is a palette ready made with 15 full size eyeshadows. Obviously I had to get the warm palette! I haven't purchased any MAC eyeshadows in a very long time so I'm excited to try these colours which I've not used before! Plus the palette was reduced from £65 to £49.50 which is a bargain for eyeshadows that are £10 each individually!

I was also very kindly given a sample of the Pro Eye Makeup Remover, I've never tried any MAC skincare before so I'll see how I get on with this!

Top to bottom (Whisper of Gilt, Pleasure Model Blush, Rule Eyeshadow)

Thanks for reading what I ordered from MAC this week! Will you be picking up the Nutcracker Sweet Copper Face Compact? Let me know in the comments below! See you soon!

    Autumn Lipstick Picks

The weather is absolutely freezing and I'm loving every minute, we're well an truly into autumn meaning there's no stopping us from breaking out those old favourites from last year and also gives us an excuse to buy more autumn lipsticks yay!

When picking out my favourite autumn lipsticks I noticed that they were all products which I've purchased recent, I must have been subconsciously thinking about autumn all summer! So here are my favourites for this season!

I love the Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lipsticks, they're incredibly pigmented and so comfy to wear all day! Sienna is a dark red shade with a hint of plum (it reminds me of MAC Diva).

I was after this lipstick for so long before i got it purely because I love warm browns! Light or dark I need them all! This deep chocolate brown is perfect for this season! For a full review on the lip kits click here.

As much as I love the plum shades, a trusty nude is always welcome! My favourite recently is Crushed Pecan! It's a brownish nude and wears so comfortably on the lips!

I think this might just be my favourite of them all. It's no secret that Tom Ford lipsticks are quite pricey as far as lipsticks go, but personally I think they're worth every penny. I wore this out the other night for a meal, wine was flowing (of course) and when I looked at my glass there was no transfer! I was so shocked! But it didn't survive my food unfortunately.

(Top to bottom) Laura Mercier - Sienna, Kylie Cosmetics - True Brown K, Laura Mercier - Crushed Pecan and Tom Ford - Black Dahlia.

What are your favourite lipsticks this autumn? Let me know in the comments below! See you soon!

    Autumn Eyeshadow Picks

There is nothing I love more than Autumn and Winter. Keep your summer! I love the cold weather! I get more giddy when October comes round every year, I've even dedicated a Pinterest board to this season and I am not ashamed.

There are many things I love about autumn and winter but I do love all the autumn makeup! Of course you can wear any colours you want all year round - I certainly do! But when plum lipsticks and burnt orange eyeshadows come out to play, now that is my favourite.

Recently I've fallen back in love with Makeup Geek eyeshadows. We all love them, they're trusty and affordable. I've picked out a few of my favourites which I'll definitely be using this season.

Top row from left to right (Americano, Chickadee and Cocoa Bear).

Middle row from left to right (Bitten, Havoc and Brown Sugar).

Bottom row from left to right (Frappé, Confection and Peach Smoothie).

For swatches on these eyeshadows - click here.

My little collection of course is based on warm browns and I love bringing back the burgundy and dusty pinks too!

Let me know what your autumn eyeshadow picks are for this season in the comments! See you soon!

    Laura Mercier Haul

Hello hello hello! September was a bit of a mad month so blogging wasn't exactly a main priority, I wasn't feeling inspired at all so I didn't post twice a week like I usually do (there's nothing worse than trying to force content).

However, despite my lack of motivation and inspiration a lot of good came out of September. As I mentioned in my last post, I got a new job! I now work for Laura Mercier which I am absolutely over the moon about! I love Laura Mercier products and the looks they create so starting this journey is definitely something I'm excited about!

So I'm dedicating this blog post to my new job! It's hard to resist all the beautiful products so of course I had to get my hands on a few!

I picked up the Silk Crème Moisturising Foundation in the shade Cashew Beige. I love a dewy finish and I love full coverage so I can't wait to try this out!

I also picked up two Crème Smooth Lipsticks in the shades Crushed Pecan which is a beautiful warm nude (I can't stop wearing this) and Sienna which is a dark red colour (I can't wait to wear this throughout autumn!). I love the formula of these lipsticks they're really moisturising so they don't dry out your lips during the day which makes them so easy to wear.

(From left to right: Crushed Pecan, Sienna and Bronze 4).

I also grabbed a Lip Liner in the shade Red Chocolate to match with the Sienna lipstick.

Last but not least I picked up the Matte Radiance Baked Powder in Bronze 4. I love this bronzer because it has a warm tone similar to MAC Give Me Sun. I've been wearing this bronzer everyday and although it has a matte finish it does have a radiance within it too which makes the skin look so fresh and not cakey!

That concludes my Laura Mercier Haul! I'm so blessed and grateful to be given this opportunity and looking forward to start my new journey and to learn more about the products (and hopefully discover some holygrails too!) let me know what your favourite Laura Mercier products are in the comments below! See you soon!
